Sinclair selects AWS as preferred cloud provider

Sinclair Broadcast Group has selected Amazon Web Services (AWS) as the company’s preferred cloud provider.

Sinclair plans to leverage AWS Media Services like Elemental MediaConnect, to develop media operations for 200+ channels, including converged media storage and optimized media workflows with relevant metadata.

Sinclair is also expected to use compute, storage, and database services from AWS and AWS partners, according to the companies.
