Signet Accel appoints Philip Payne CSO

Software and services company Signet Accel has appointed Dr. Philip Payne to its executive team as Chief Science Officer (CSO). As one of the company’s co-founders and creators of its flagship product Avec, a federated data integration platform, Dr. Payne will lead product development, support clients in solution strategy and development, and direct ongoing thought leadership, said the company in a statement.

Dr. Payne is also professor and director, Institute for Informatics, at the Washington University School of Medicine.
