Sencha Raises $15 Million in Series B Funding

Sencha, a provider of HTML5 frameworks and tools for desktop and mobile application developers, has completed a $15 million Series B round of funding. Jafco Ventures led the round, with participation from existing investors Sequoia Capital and Radar Partners. As part of this financing Joe Horowitz, managing general partner of Jafco Ventures will join the Sencha board of directors.

Sencha had also closed a $14 million funding in June of last year.

Bipsync, a research automation platform for investment professionals, has closed a $1.5 million round of seed financing. Investors in the round include Russell Siegelman (Stanford Lecturer and Partner Emeritus, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers), David Eisner (Founder of, and Steadfast Venture Capital.
