Seismic, the creator of the LiveDoc platform for real-time enterprise content management, has closed a $4.5 million series A funding round. The investment was led by venture capital firm Sigma West, with additional funding coming from private investors.

Headquartered in Encinitas, CA, Seismic was founded in 2010.
