ScaleArc Gets $12.3M Series C Funding

Database infrastructure software company ScaleArc has raised $12.3 million in funding in a Series C round. The investment was led by Accel Ventures with participation from existing investors including Trinity Ventures and Nexus Ventures, from whom ScaleArc had previously raised $5.33 million in 2011.

The funding will be used primarily to invest in sales and marketing, as well as to maintain aggressive development of its product roadmap, says the company.
