Salesforce Launches Wave Analytics Cloud

salesforce

Salesforce has launched Wave, the Salesforce Analytics Cloud, at the company’s annual Dreamforce convention currently going on in San Francisco, California. Wave ecosystem partners include Accenture, Deloitte Digital and Informatica, among others. Wave is being used by companies like Equinix, GE Capital and TriCore Reference Laboratories currently, says Salesforce.

Wave brings indexed search and a  computing engine into a single, vertically-integrated cloud analytics platform. Rather than delivering a visualization tool or a layer of abstraction, Salesforce says with Wave it reimagined the entire analytics process end-to-end.
