SAIC, Hitachi Team Up For Desktop As A Service Solutions

SAIC and Hitachi Data Systems have signed a strategic alliance to deliver a desktop-as-a-service (DTaaS) solution for government agencies.

The joint offering complies with government desktop standards, such as the Federal Desktop Core Configuration and the National Institute of Science and Technology’s United States Government Configuration Baseline. The joint DTaaS solution capabilities help support agency telework and continuity of operations policies, remote and field workers, and security through centralized control of desktop configuration and patching.

DTaaS is designed be accessed securely from any location, any time, and on any device.
