Robinhood To Offer Zero-Commission Stock Trades, Raises $3M

Mobile financial services company Robinhood says it will start offering zero-commission stock trades, with no minimum account value.

Initially funded by Google Ventures, Robinhood just closed a $3 million in seed funding. Index Ventures led the round, with participation from Rothenberg Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz, and angel investors including Tim Draper and Howard Lindzon.
