R9B awarded subcontract supporting US Cyber Command

R9B, a provider of cybersecurity services and training for commercial and government clients,  has been awarded a subcontract from prime contractor Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) to enhance the capabilities of USCYBERCOM’s core cyberspace disciplines in operations, planning, training, and exercise support. The contract has a period of performance of up to five years.

The Joint Operations Center (JOC) & Special Programs Support (SPS) Task Order 2 subcontract awarded to R9B will support USCYBERCOM at Fort Meade, MD. R9B will provide manpower services to enhance USCYBERCOM’s ability to plan, coordinate, integrate, synchronize, train, and conduct the operations and defense of Department of Defense (DoD) components.

Under the subcontract, R9B will provide USCYBERCOM and the JOC with cyberspace planning activities, coordinate proactive intelligence, and maintain comprehensive situational awareness on current operations and the situations throughout the world affecting or otherwise impacting cyberspace, said the company in a statement.
