Prith Banerjee joins Korn Ferry as senior client partner

Prith Banerjee has joined Korn Ferry as senior client partner IOT and Innovation Transformation for the Global Industrial Practice.

Mr. Banerjee joins Korn Ferry from Schneider Electric, where he was executive vice president and chief technology officer and a member of the executive committee, reporting to the chairman and CEO.

Previously, Mr. Banerjee worked at Accenture as managing director of Global Technology R&D. In this role, he oversaw the Accenture Technology Labs. He also directed the company’s annual Technology Vision research.

Prior to Accenture, Mr. Banerjee was chief technology officer and executive vice president at ABB, and before that he was senior vice president of Research and Director of HP Labs at HP.

Mr. Banerjee began his career in academia, in which he served 22 years as a professor, chairman and dean at the University of Illinois and Northwestern University. During this time, he founded two software startups – Accelchip and Binachip.

Mr. Banerjee received his Ph.D. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and his B.Tech degree in Electronics and Electrical Communication and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
