Platformatic raises $3.5M

San Francisco, Calif.-based Platformatic, providers of a backend platform for developers, has raised $3.5 million. The funding round was led by venture capital firm Decibel, featuring contributions from Panache Ventures and angel investors.

Tom Preston-Werner, founder of GitHub, and Feross Aboukhadijeh, founder and CEO of Socket, were part of the funding process. James Snell, a significant contributor to Node.js, Jevon MacDonald, founder of Tier.run, Walter Kortschak, and Omri Barzilay also provided backing.
