Party Earth Raises $4 Million Financing

Party Earth, a media and entertainment company that offers personalized reviews and listings of local venues, events, and social experiences around the world, announced the closing of $4 million in financing. The company is also launching its new website.

Sam Altman (President and CEO, Party Earth): We want to help solve the age old problem: ‘Where to go, what to do, and who to do it with.

Party Earth will be building social features for users with the new funding. Additionally, the company is planning a mobile platform that will marry geo-location services with its content.

Party Earth did not share details of the investment, including who the investors were.
