Pano AI raises $17M

San Francisco, Calif.-based Pano AI, a company that offers a managed solution for active wildfire detection with a connected, intelligent platform for fire professionals using artificial intelligence, has raised $17 million. The investment was led by Valor Equity Partners.

Existing investors Initialized Capital, Congruent Ventures, Convective Capital, January Ventures, Kevin Mahaffey, and Jade Van Doren also invested in Pano AI’s latest funding round, along with Salesforce Ventures, T-Mobile Ventures, and the 5G Open Innovation Lab.

In another development, Pano AI  has appointed Ryan White, who formerly led machine learning teams at Amazon and Meta, as the company’s new VP of Engineering.
