Orkes raises $20M

Cupertino, CA-based Orkes, a company focused on the scaling of distributed systems, has raised $20 million. The investment was led by Nexus Venture Partners and saw participation from Battery Ventures and Vertex Ventures.

Abhishek Sharma, managing director at Nexus, will be joining the Orkes board.
