NodeSource Raises $3M

NodeSource, an enterprise-focused software company working on the Node.js ecosystem, has raised $3 million in seed funding from Crosslink Capital and Resolute Ventures.

Joe McCann (Co-founder & CEO, NodeSource): Monolithic applications, mainly written in Java, are killing development cycles, stifling innovation and keeping Java-heavy IT organizations many steps behind their competitors, especially those who have embraced a microservices architecture.

NodeSource’s portfolio of clients includes Uber, PayPal, Fitbit, Yahoo, Symantec, Polyvore and Netflix, among others.
