NEC Launches Desktop As A Service Offerings

NEC has joined forces with Desktone to deliver cloud-hosted virtual desktops. NEC’s Desktops as a Service (DaaS) offerings will be available beginning in the third quarter of this calendar year.

NEC can provision and deploy desktops from the cloud to end user tablets, smartphones, laptops and PCs on demand, without investing in complex on-site infrastructure, says the company.
