NEC appoints Kris Ranganath as SVP of Digital Platform

NEC announced the appointment of Kris Ranganath as their new senior vice president (SVP) of Digital Platform (DPF). In his new position, Mr. Ranganath will be reporting to Chris Jackson, president and CEO of NEC America, according to the company.

As the SVP of DPF, Mr. Ranganath will be tasked with leading and shaping the strategy and vision for the division. DPF serves as NEC’s global Center of Excellence, focusing on identity and vision AI for the company’s digital platform business.

Mr. Ranganath has an extensive history with NEC, having held multiple roles within the company over a 16-year period. His previous positions include CTO and vice president of Technology and Solutions. Prior to his new appointment at NEC, Mr. Ranganath was the SVP of Innovation at Paravision.ai.
