Integration platform provider MuleSoft has acquired web mashups and APIs site ProgrammableWeb. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.

MuleSoft will run ProgrammableWeb as a standalone business unit within MuleSoft. The company is also committed to investing in ProgrammableWeb.
