Modal raises $25M

Modal, a San Mateo, California-based skills development platform for data and analytics professionals, has announced the completion of a $25 million Series A funding round. The round was led by Left Lane Capital and Ensemble VC, with participation from investment firms Signalfire and Learn Capital.

Modal was founded by Darren Shimkus, former President of Udemy, and Dennis Yang, former CEO of Udemy.
