Mike Gregoire elected as chairman of CA Technologies board

CA Technologies CEO Mike Gregoire has been elected as chairman of its board of directors, the company said in a statement. Former chairman Art Weinbach has retired from the board. In another development, Rohit Kapoor will serve as the lead independent director of the board.

As previously announced, on July this year, CA Technologies entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by Broadcom. Subject to customary closing conditions, the transaction is expected to close in the fourth calendar quarter of 2018.
