Microsoft To Open International Transparency Center In Brussels

Microsoft will be opening an international Transparency Center in Brussels. The center will offer government customers an increased ability to review Microsoft source code, says the company.

Matt Thomlinson (Vice president, Microsoft Security): The Brussels center will build upon on our long-standing program that provides government customers with the ability to review our source code, reassure themselves of its integrity and confirm there are no back doors.

The Brussels center is expected to be opened by the end of 2014.
