Meetup Down After DDoS Attacks

meetup

Social meetings site Meetup has been down, following repeated DDoS attacks. The first attack took place on February 28, and resulted in a service outage. Since then Meetup engineers restored the site’s functionalities and availability. Meetup was again attacked on Saturday, and the site is once again down.

Organizer and member data is secure, including credit card information, says the company. No data has been accessed or stolen.
