McAfee appoints Mary Cranston, Sohaib Abbasi to board

MacAfee has appointed two new board members — Mary Cranston, retired senior partner of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman and board member of Visa, and Sohaib Abbasi, former chairman and CEO of Informatica.

Ms. Cranston has 15 years of experience as a board member of seven public companies. She currently holds board seats on the boards of Chemours, MyoKardia, Boardspan and CSAA Insurance Group; and is a former board member of Juniper Networks.

Mr. Abbasi is currently a member of the board at Red Hat, New Relic and Streamsets.
