Material Security raises $100M

Material Security, a company that offers a zero trust security approach to email data, has secured $100 million in Series C funding.

The round is led by Founders Fund, with participation from previous backers Andreesen Horowitz, and Elad Gil.

The latest funding pegs Material Security at a valuation of $1.1 billion, the company said in a statement.

Material Security customers include Chubb, Compass, Roblox, Brex, Lyft, Mars, Databricks and DoorDash, according to the company.
