Mark McLaughlin joins Snowflake board

Snowflake announced the appointment of Mark McLaughlin to its board of directors, following the resignation of Carl Eschenbach, who was recently appointed co-CEO of Workday.

Mr. McLaughlin currently serves as chairman of the board of directors at Qualcomm and as a director of Snorkel.AI.

From 2011 until 2018, Mr. McLaughlin served as CEO and chairman of the board at Palo Alto Networks, and as vice chairman of the board until December 2022. From 2009 through 2011, Mr. McLaughlin served as president and CEO of VeriSign.

Mr. McLaughlin holds a B.S. from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and a J.D. from Seattle University School of Law.
