Marcelo Claure Joins Sprint Board

The Sprint board of directors has appointed Marcelo Claure to the board, bringing the total number of board members to nine.

Mr. Claure is founder, chairman, president and CEO of Brightstar. Prior to launching Brightstar, Mr. Claure served as president of Cellular Solutions, among other things. He has received a B.S. in Economics and Finance and a Doctorate Honoris Causa in Commercial Science from Bentley College.
