Mapbox appoints Roy Ng president and COO

Real-time location and mapping platform company Mapbox has appointed Roy Ng president and COO. Mr. Ng will be responsible for customer-facing operations, including sales, marketing, customer success, and business development, as well as finance, human resources, and business operations. He will report to Mapbox’s CEO Eric Gundersen.

Mr. Ng joins Mapbox from Twilio, where he was COO and led commercial operations for the company. Prior to Twilio, he was senior vice president and COO for SAP’s cloud business unit.
