Maana raises $28 million

Maana, a company that provides a knowledge platform for companies to optimize assets and decisions flows, has raised $28 million in a Series C funding round. The investment was led by Chinese investment bank China International Capital with participation from Eight Square Capital.

Existing investors Intel Capital, GE Ventures, Chevron Technology Ventures, Saudi Aramco Energy Ventures, and Shell Technology Ventures also participated in the round.

Maana is privately held with offices in Palo Alto, California, Bellevue, Washington and Houston, Texas. The company has raised $68 million to date.
