Logz.io raises $23 million

Logz.io, a provider of AI-powered log analysis, has raised $23 million in Series C funding. The investment was led by OpenView, with participation from 83North, Giza and new investor Vintage Investment Partners.

Logz.io is an intelligent log analytics platform that combines advanced machine learning with the open-source ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) stack. Its customers include Oracle, Intel, British Airways and Electronic Arts, according to the company.

Logz.io says it plans to double its current footprint in Boston, its US headquarters where 25 of its 100 employees are based, over the next 12 months.

The company has raised $47 million to date.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has established an Artificial Intelligence Safety and Security Board (the board). The inaugural members include CEOs and executives from companies like OpenAI, Anthropic, Delta Air Lines, IBM, Nvidia, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon Web Services, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), and Cisco.

IBM, Canada, and Quebec invest $137M to strengthen semiconductor industry

IBM, the Government of Canada, and the Government of Quebec announced agreements to develop the assembly, testing and packaging capabilities for semiconductor modules at IBM Canada's plant in Bromont, Quebec.
