LivingSocial Hires Best Buy CMO

Barry Judge has been appointed CMO for LivingSocial. Formerly, Mr. Judge served as executive vice president, and global chief marketing officer for Best Buy.

At LivingSocial, Mr. Judge will oversee all aspects of marketing for the company, including online and offline advertising, brand management, social media, and communications.

Mr. Judge originally joined Best Buy in 1999, to help the company launch bestbuy.com. Since then he has held a number of senior marketing positions at the company before being named CMO in 2008, a position he held until mid-2012.

Mr. Judge serves on the boards of Total Wine & More, Owner IQ, and the Mobile Marketing Association. He has a bachelor’s degree from Brown University and a master’s degree in marketing from the J.L. Kellogg School at Northwestern University.
