LinkedIn Opens Hong Kong Office

LinkedIn has opened a new office in Hong Kong.

Arvind Rajan  (Managing director and Vice President, APAC and Japan, LinkedIn): Hong Kong’s skilled talent base and its reputation as a leading international center of finance and business make it an important market for us, and we’re thrilled to be expanding our footprint in the region at a time when professionals in Hong Kong are placing a growing emphasis on social media.

There are already more than 25 million LinkedIn members in Asia Pacific and Japan, says the company. LinkedIn recently launched Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Malaysia and Korean editions of its site. The company opened offices in Japan and Singapore last year.
