LinkedIn Launches LinkedIn Contacts

LinkedIn_Contacts

LinkedIn has launched LinkedIn Contacts, a new product that brings contacts from address books, email accounts, and calendars together with the LinkedIn network.

LinkedIn Contacts sends you alerts on job changes and birthdays in your network. You can also set reminders and add notes about the people in your network.

Sachin Rekhi (Product Lead, Relationships, LinkedIn): Have you wanted to quickly pull up the last conversations you had with people before you head out to meet them?

LinkedIn Contacts is available both on the LinkedIn website, as well as a standalone app for iPhone. Over the coming weeks, LinkedIn will start sending LinkedIn Contacts invitations. You can sign up here for the waiting list.
