LinkedIn Buys Bright For $120M

LinkedIn has acquired online job search company Bright for $120 million, in the company’s largest acquisition till date.

Parker Barrile (VP, Product, LinkedIn): As we add more job listings over the next several years, Bright’s powerful matching technology will be integral to ensuring that the prospects we suggest to employers and opportunities we surface for prospects are increasingly relevant. 

Several members of Bright’s team, including those from Engineering and Product, will join LinkedIn following the closing of the deal. Bright’s users and hiring solutions customers will be able to access existing data on its website through February 28.
