LG Will Launch World’s Largest Ultra Def TV

LG Electronics will unveil the world’s largest Ultra Definition (UD) 3D TV at the 2012 International CES, said the company. The TV will combine LG’s passive CINEMA 3D technology and Smart TV functions with UD display technology, in a 84-inch class (84.04 inch diagonal) immersive 3D home entertainment device.

LG’s 3D UD TV will come with 8 million pixels, four times the resolution of existing Full HD TV panels. Users can access LG’s Smart TV ecosystem, which is composed of over 1,200 apps. 3D glasses will be required and sold separately.
