LG Electronics USA Names New President

William Cho, a 26-year veteran of LG Electronics, has been named president of LG Electronics USA. He succeeds Wayne Park, who has been promoted to the role of global sales and marketing officer, within the company. Mr. Cho will also lead the LG Electronics USA Home Entertainment business. In this role, he succeeds Jay Vandenbree, who is retiring at year-end.

Mr. Cho was responsible for LG’s global residential air conditioning business for the past two years. Previously, he served as president of LG Australia and president of LG Canada, besides holding  sales roles in the United States. Mr. Cho joined LG in 1987 after earning his engineering degree from Busan University and his business degree from the Yonsei University graduate school in Korea.
