Lattice Semiconductor appoints Jim Anderson as CEO

Lattice Semiconductor has appointed Jim Anderson as the company’s president and chief executive. Mr. Anderson will also join the company’s board of directors, the company said in a statement.

Mr. Anderson joins Lattice from AMD where he served as the general manager and senior vice president of the Computing and Graphics Business Group.

Prior to AMD, Mr. Anderson held leadership positions spanning general management, engineering, sales, marketing, and strategy at companies including, Intel, Broadcom  (formerly, Avago Technologies), and LSI, said Lattice Semiconductor in a statement.

Mr. Anderson holds an MBA and Master of Science in electrical engineering and computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Master of Science in electrical engineering from Purdue University, and a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Minnesota. Mr. Anderson has received four patents for innovations in computer architecture.

Mr. Anderson also serves on the board of Qylur Intelligent Systems.
