Kaiser Permanente Opens New IT Center In Colorado

Health insurer Kaiser Permanente has opened a new information technology  center in Greenwood Village, Colorado. Some 350 employees are now working at the IT center, with additional 95 new positions to be filled in by this year, according to the company.

Phil Fasano (Executive vice president and chief information officer, Kaiser Permanente): As health care evolves, there is an increased demand for IT solutions and support to deliver quality patient care.

By 2015, Kaiser Permanente expects approximately 700 IT professionals will work at the new IT center.

Kaiser Permanente has over 6,000 staff members in Colorado.
