Iomega Network Storage Gets EMC Atmos Boost

Iomega, an EMC company, announced an integration between Iomega network storage solutions and EMC Atmos.

The Iomega StorCenter PX Server Class Series of network storage products features a new version of EMC LifeLine software, which includes the Atmos Connector client software. In conjunction with a service provider, the Atmos Connector software lets a user copy data stored on an Iomega StorCenter network storage device directly to Atmos-powered cloud storage.

The EMC LifeLine Atmos Connector is currently available with the Iomega StorCenter PX Server Class Series and the Iomega StorCenter ix2 family of network storage products featuring LifeLine release 3.2 or newer. Iomega network storage products start at less than $150. The Atmos service is available from selected service providers around the globe.
