Intel Cuts 1,500 Jobs In Costa Rica

Intel is shutting its assembly and test operations in Costa Rica, eliminating 1,500 jobs, according to various media reports. The chipmaker is expected to move assembly and testing from its Costa Rica operations to existing sites in China, Malaysia and Vietnam.
