Industrial cyber security company Indegy raises $12M

Industrial cyber security company Indegy has closed a $12 million Series A round of financing led by Vertex Ventures Israel with participation from Silicon Valley-based Aspect Ventures, and SBI Holdings of Japan. Existing investors Shlomo Kramer and Magma Venture Partners also participated in the round. Aviad Ariel of Vertex Ventures will be joining Indegy’s board.

The funds will be used to scale Indegy’s sales and marketing operations in North America, Europe and Asia, as well as R&D in Israel, said the company.

Indegy is headquartered in Tel Aviv, Israel, with a sales office in Palo Alto, California. The company has raised $18 million to date.
