ID Analytics appoints Sameer Chopra chief analytics and science officer

ID Analytics has appointed Sameer Chopra as chief analytics and science officer. Mr. Chopra will take over the role from Dr. Stephen Coggeshall, who retired in July after more than a decade with the company.

Mr. Chopra will oversee research and development and manage data scientists, said the company in a statement. He will report to Scott Carter, CEO of ID Analytics.

Most recently, Mr. Chopra served as chief analytics officer at GoDaddy. Prior to GoDaddy, he was chief analytics officer at Orbitz. He currently also serves on the advisory board of Northwestern University’s Master’s in Analytics program.

Mr. Chopra earned a master’s in operations research from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
