IBM to acquire NS1

IBM is acquiring NS1. The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2023 and is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory clearances, said IBM in a statement. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Headquartered in New York, and with offices in San Francisco, New Hampshire, London, Hanoi, and Cork, NS1 provides network automation SaaS solutions.

NetBox Labs,a new business and brand borne from NS1’s investment in NetBox will separate from NS1 as part of this transaction. IBM will be an investor in NetBox Labs.

Following close, NS1 employees will join IBM Software, IBM said in a statement.

The NS1 acquisition marks IBM’s second acquisition of 2023.
