IBM, Latin Business Today Team On Content For Small Businesses

Online publisher Latin Business Today will provide IBM’s small-business resource website SME Toolkit with articles and other editorial material.  Latin Business Today will regularly supplement the content available through the U.S. Hispanic section of SME Toolkit, a free website that promotes economic growth in under-served and emerging markets.

Provided through a partnership between the International Finance Corporation and IBM, the SME Toolkit provides practical information in such areas as finance, accounting, international business, marketing, and human resources. The site’s array of free tools includes a financing calculator, web software, business forms, and group calendars.

“We see the SME Toolkit as a way to accelerate economic development and job growth through the deployment of information and communication technologies,” says Robin Willner, Vice President for Global Community Initiatives, Corporate Citizenship, and Corporate Affairs at IBM.

LatinBusinessToday.com evolved from Latin Business, a Los Angeles-based, bimonthly print magazine with a national circulation of 150,000 that was published between 2002 and 2009. Like its predecessor, the new website offers mainly English-language content.
