Homejoy Raises $38 Million In Financing

homejoyHomejoy has raised $38 million in Series A and Series B rounds from Google Ventures, Redpoint Ventures and angel investor Max Levchin. Joe Kraus, general partner at Google Ventures, and Geoff Yang, founding partner of Redpoint Ventures are joining the company’s board. The latest investment brings the company’s total funding to about $40 million till date.

Homejoy connects users with professional cleaners at the flat rate of $20 per hour. Started in July 2012 in Mountain View, CA, the company is now based in San Francisco, CA and serves over 30 markets in the United States and Canada.
