Garmin Launches Golf Activity Tracker

Garmin has launched the Approach X40, a golf band that combines daily activity and heart rate tracking, with pre-loaded golf data for roughly 40,000 international courses. The X40 measures distances to the front, middle and back of the green as well as layups, doglegs and hazards like bunkers and water. The golf band also features Green View, which displays the shape of the green on each hole, allowing golfers to manually place the pin for more accurate yardages.

The Approach X40 will begin shipping in Q2 2016 for $2499.99. The bands will be available in black, white and frost blue.
