Frequency closes $11 million equity financing

Cloud-based internet video service Frequency has closed $11 million equity financing from Liberty Global, YOU On Demand and Oakmont. The company says the funds will be used to fuel growth, including international distribution, and ongoing development of the company’s video distribution platform.

Frequency is a cloud-based internet video service that aggregates and distributes video from providers, including TV, multi-channel and digital networks, as well as from individual creators. It is used by TV, mobile and over-the-top operators to deliver internet video services to their subscribers.
