ForgeRock Raises $7M In Series A Funding

ForgeRock has raised $7 million in series A funding from Accel Partners. The company says it will use the funds to step up on its growth plans.

Lasse Andresen (Founder and CEO, ForgeRock): We were looking for investors with a track record of backing companies which subsequently come to define their category.

ForgeRock is a open source vendor offering identity-oriented middle-ware solutions. ForgeRock products include the OpenAM (Access Manager) for Authentication, SSO, and Cloud-enabled Federation; OpenIDM (Identity Manager) and OpenDJ (Directory Java).
