Finam Invests $10 Million In IM+

Russian brokerage and investment holding Finam has invested $10 million in Shape Services’ IM+ mobile messenger. As a part of the deal, Finam and the Germany-headquartered Shape Services have launched the FinamShape joint venture, that will release a special version of plus.im web messenger for the fast growing Russian market.

IM+, the all in one messenger, lets users chat within a variety of messaging services including Facebook, Skype, Yahoo, Twitter and Jabber among others, has 17.5 million users and 800 million mobile ad impressions/month.
