Eviden, Microsoft forge five-year strategic partnership for cloud and AI solutions

Eviden, a business unit of Atos, and Microsoft have announced a five-year strategic partnership to enhance their collaboration with new cloud and AI-powered solutions for various industries.

Eviden and Microsoft will work together to develop and implement Data & AI, Copilot, and cloud transformation solutions, according to the companies.

The collaboration targets an additional $2.8 billion in Cloud Service Business for Eviden over the next five years. This goal will be pursued through joint development of accelerators and go-to-market activities in sectors such as Financial Services, Automotive, Manufacturing, Energy and Utilities, Health Care, Life Sciences, and the Public Sector. Both companies plan to invest in co-innovation and develop Prioritized Offerings with Eviden’s Global Delivery Centers and Centre of Excellence.

Eviden and Microsoft also plan to establish multiple co-innovation Industry Hubs, focusing on advanced research and the development of GenAI-enabled industry solutions in various sectors. These hubs will utilize Eviden’s expertise in Machine Learning, AI, and Microsoft’s Azure OpenAI Service.

The partnership will concentrate on six strategic areas; Data & AI Innovation, Cloud Services, Application Infrastructure & Innovation, Business Applications, Security, and Accelerating SAP Transformation.

Eviden plans to enhance its global delivery centers and Centre of Excellence by training over 50,000 employees with 16,000+ new Microsoft certifications in the next five years. The company will also expand its Microsoft Business with dedicated sales, solution architects, and enablement teams in key countries including North America, UK, Germany, France, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, and Switzerland.
