The Huffington Post Media Group has appointed Eric Eldon as the Editor of TechCrunch. Mr. Eldon succeeds Erick Schonfeld, who has decided to leave to pursue other opportunities.

Arianna Huffington, president and editor-in-chief of the Huffington Post Media Group, and Jay Kirsch, SVP & general manager, AOL Marketplace, made the announcements.
